August, One Week to Go: A million final things

One week before the start of the season and there are a milliion final things to be done. The Panther Plaza needs to be finished by pouring concrete, the new ticket booth, fencing, lighting, hand rails and painting. Good weather is helping. The existing ticket booth and press box are getting a face lift by volunteers as well as the scoreboard. Many thanks to Bob, Bob, Ron, Mike, Dave, John, John and Jody.

The new entrance to Memorial Stadium. A new ticket booth where the former ramp and pass gate were. The area has been lowerd and a ramp to the home side will make it easier for the Panther faithful to get to their seats.

The ramp to the visitor side is completed and waiting for the fencing.

The scoreboard needed some attention as well, last painted in 2002. Joh and John work on the flame.

John has a special memory of the Panther, he helped Mr. Unger build the Panther in metal shop class. Now, 22 years later, he gives the Panther an overhaul.

Mike gives the scoreboard a fresh coat of Panther Blue.
